Payments
Are card payments secure?
We use a safe and secure third-party payment processing company called Stripe as a payment gateway.
It’s important to know that your credit card and payment details are NOT managed by Wash.GT Platform or Apps. Stripe is PCI #1 compliant.
In other words, Stripe has the highest level of payment security possible, so you can pay through Wash.GT with confidence!
Can I pay with cash?
Yes! But only in some locations. We allow customers in certain locations flexibility with several payment options. Good old cash included.
Although we recommend paying through our cashless options – our own wallet and/or credit card. You can secure a booking online with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit/credit card, Wash.GT Wallet, and Cash in some locations.
You won’t be charged until the service is completed.
Before Booking
Do I need to be present before, during, or after the service?
Not really. Especially if you decide to pay cashless.
The Pro will contact you through the app when they arrive. If you choose not to be present for the arrival of the Pro, please ensure the Pro can easily find your vehicle by providing the correct details at booking.
Also be sure that the car is accessible, and unlocked if it requires an interior service.
You can also communicate with the Pro through the app with specific instructions during the duration of the job. The Pro won’t have access to your contact details with Messaging and VOIP through the app. For your security, your contact details will remain anonymous.
We strongly recommend checking the vehicle and invoice after the Pro has completed the service to ensure you’re thoroughly satisfied with the end result! Please rate and review through the app.
If you chose Cash as your payment option, you will have to pay directly to the Pro the full amount as per the invoice in the app. Tips are NOT mandatory.
What if I have more than one car to be washed?
No problem!
Just increase units at checkout through our app if you want the same service and/or Pro. Or choose a completely different service and/or Pro for the other vehicle(s). The app is very flexible.
Any clarification use the “special instructions” feature during the checkout to clearly inform the Pro. This will route the Pro(s) to service all vehicles scheduled.
How long does the service take?
The duration of the service will depend on the package you’ve selected and prior condition of the vehicle.
The following are approximate times for a single Pro:
Car Washing 1 – 2 hours
Car Valeting 3 – 4 hours
Car Detailing 7 – 8 hours
Please note that any additional services will require more time. Check our Booking page for officially recommended timings.
Is there an additional charge for large vehicles or very dirty vehicles?
YES!
If the vehicle is not standard, in size or condition – due to the extra time and supplies necessary to complete the job – the Pro will charge an extra, within reason. The Pro will inform you and quote you how much for your approval before starting the job.
This extra charge will be added by the Pro to the official invoice in the app.

How does a waterless car wash work?
In some specific locations, due to recent legislation, conventional car washes are not permitted. For these locations, a waterless car wash is recommended and 100% legal.
Waterless car wash or eco-friendly car wash uses highly lubricated solutions to clean the entire vehicle. The safe chemicals encapsulate dirt and dust particles.
Please note a waterless car wash is only recommended for cars with light dirtiness that doesn’t have excessive amounts of dirt, such as dried mud or other debris.
What is the difference between a wash, a valet, and a detail?
Washing your vehicle regularly, valeting, and detailing it goes a long way toward maintaining that new car look. All services will certainly maintain your vehicle. However, valeting and detailing will cater to the intricate needs of your vehicle.
We recommend washing you vehicle weekly. Valeting it monthly. And detailing it quarterly. This keep it in top shape for decades. Detailing is also recommended if you are looking to revive an older vehicle or if you are looking to sell the vehicle. Once you detail and valet your car it makes it much easier to maintain the cleanliness with regular washing.
Can I request the same Pro that serviced my vehicle in the past?
Of course! Yes, you can. That functionality has always been at the core of our app.
You are able to always choose your favourite Pro and create your booking based on their availability. Or give another Pro a try and shop around. Your choice!
After Booking
Is it possible to cancel and/or reschedule?
Yes, of course!
You can cancel and/or reschedule any appointment free of charge when it is done at least 6 hours prior to scheduled service. You can do this from your Wash.GT app.
Wash.GTs’ policies are designed to promote fairness and a consistently reliable experience for Customers and Pros alike. While we know schedules can change quickly, rescheduling or skipping a booking with short notices causes Pros to miss out on other job opportunities as well as waste their time and miles. To be fair, we have to compensate our Pros for their time and expect the same from them.
Cancelling a job less than 6 hours before the assigned time will be subject to a small non-refundable fee. Please notify us ASAP if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Please note that 99% of our bookings will be delivered on time. In the event that your job gets cancelled, or a Pro doesn’t show up, we will inform you immediately and add money to your Wash.GT wallet as compensation for the inconvenience.
Why hasn't my Pro arrived yet?
While we value your time and want to ensure we accommodate your busy schedule, Pros may occasionally encounter obstacles out of their control, including running late due to traffic or other unforeseen circumstances.
Once a job starts, including commute, you will be able to track your Pros’ exact location on the map inside the app. Plus, you can also communicate with your Pro through Messaging and VOIP within the app without compromising your phone number.
Please give your Pro a 15-mins window to arrive at your location. If for some reason no one shows up after 15-mins, please contact us via email at info@WashGT.com or through our website.
